Erosion Control

Utilizing both traditional and non-traditional practices, Apache has demonstrated the ability to effectively implement practical solutions for effective erosion and sediment control.

In conjunction with NPDES regulations, Apache's experience in conventional technology applications include blankets and nettings, geo grids and textiles, retaining structures, silt fence, coir fiber mats, rip rap, seeding and sodding. Apache is also a leader in the use of bio-engineering techniques for stream bank stabilization and erosion control of shoreline and coastal environments. This low cost method emphasizes the use of native vegetation and natural substances integrated with geo-synthetics and other materials. Techniques include live stakes, wattles or facines, check dams, tree revetments and live cribwalls.

A long list of satisfied clients include local soil conservation districts, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, The Texas General Land Office, municipal utility districts, golf courses and private land owners.
